YASSA STEP didn't start in a design studio. It started in a driveway, next to a truck with a full overland rack and no easy way to access the top of the rack.
The Origin
If you run a bed rack or overland setup, you know the drill. You need something from your rack, or need to move that storage container, or add more gear to the top of the rack and getting on means balancing on a tire, climbing the tailgate, or just hoping nothing shifts under your weight. How about going up and down ladders, then moving the ladder about a million times.
That frustration is exactly where YASSA STEP was born. Not as a business idea — as a solution to a real, everyday problem that every truck enthusiast with a rack system faces.
After years of prototyping, field testing, and refining the design with real truck owners, YASSA STEP is ready to go from passion project to production — and we're looking for the right manufacturing partners to make it happen.
Our Mission
"We believe truck owners shouldn't have to choose between a capable rack setup and safe, easy access to their bed. YASSA STEP gives you both."
Our mission is simple: build the product we always wished existed, partner with industry manufacturers to bring it to life, get it into the hands of truck owners who need it, and do it without cutting corners on quality or engineering.
What We Stand For
Built by Truck People
We didn't design YASSA STEP in a boardroom. We designed it because we needed it — standing next to our own trucks, frustrated by the same problem every truck owner knows.
Engineered to Last
Aircraft-grade aluminum, precision tolerances, and real-world testing. YASSA STEP is built to handle mud, gear, and everything a working truck throws at it.
Simple Solves Everything
The best solutions are the ones you don't have to think about. Deploy, step up, tuck it away. That's it. No tools, no fuss, no compromises.
Community First
Every decision we make is shaped by the truck community. The waitlist isn't just a list — it's a conversation with the people we're building this for.
